Clean Up Your Mental State

 Make a decision to begin. Stop giving time to thoughts that lead nowhere. Stop investing time in thinking about any past area of your life, as comfortable and habitual as it might be for you to do so. Make daily efforts to increase your alertfulness. Recognize thinking about the past, and SWITCH your mind to think about the FUTURE. Force yourself to dwell on making a better future for those you care for and love (in all your relationships) be sweeter and more considerate as blame free patterns that hold. Understanding that you hold the cards for creating a great life is empowering. You don't need to rely on other people for you to take responsibility for your life and shape where it's headed. Sometimes you have to just replace a bad thought with a good thought and keep going. It's like putting one foot in front of the other: remember you have to start somewhere. So, if you want to clean up your mental state, remember that you can let go of unwanted thoughts by substituting it for a more desirable thought. #practicemindfulness #meditate #writeitout #exercise
