Rise Up 4 Change was founded in 2013 by the high energy husband and wife team of Fred and Angela Thomas. Fred and Angela are retired Miami-Dade County Law Enforcement Officers with a combined 45 years of experience and extensive training in violence prevention, social-emotional development, and conflict resolution. They are certified in multiple evidence-based youth development curriculums and parenting curriculum. As certified instructors, their workshops are fun and engaging and they have demonstrated ability to connect with and engage youth from all backgrounds.
